Services Technician (50% Job Share)

Co-Product Extraction and Energy APUs
Salary
£20,291.82 per annum
Job Purpose
To contribute to the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of the Phoenix, Bioethanol, and CHP plants within the Co-Product Extraction and Energy APUs. This includes supporting product quality standards and completing routine tasks to ensure process reliability.
Core Accountabilities
- Support manufacturing activities to ensure product quality meets company and customer expectations
- Take and analyse regular samples from plant and proactively inform appropriate members of the team of any parameters out-of-spec or requiring attention.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the laboratory; ensure the accuracy and upkeep of analytical equipment.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of technical data into the Factory Technical Reporting (FTR) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Support the management of bioethanol out-loading, including the sampling of tanker loads and prompt escalation of any non-conformances.
- Complete routine and scheduled tasks to support the process.
- Monitor designated process stations for short periods as required.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
- Undertake maintenance tasks and assist in testing and commissioning of plant equipment in readiness for operations.
- Demonstrate the highest standards of personal health and safety at all times, working collaboratively to ensure all tasks are conducted safely and effectively.
